Ladies Home Journal 1923

Thanks to Sue for this page from a 1923 Ladies' Home Journal. At least one of the dolls shown is a typical Rosalinde. The others have similar-looking bodies (the Chinese doll's body can't be seen to know for sure). So, I wonder - were the other dolls shown made by Rosalinde?

  1. Linda, like you, I have many questions about the chamois head chinese. I beleive we will have to work on this particular doll. I have shown him on my article on Ros in Antique Doll Collector, but still have doubts.
Doubts is the particularity of people who thinks, yes ?
Congratulations on your site, it's a pure eyes and mind pleasure.

Boudoir Doll Sighting - The Film "Speedy" - Harold Lloyd - 1928

Harold Lloyd, Ann Christy in "Speedy" 1928 - boudoir doll given away as prize at Coney Island.

Unfortunately, this YouTube film clip has the wrong music and repeats scenes and has scenes out of context so it doesn't represent the movie correctly. The Coney Island part of this movie, the way it originally was, was great! You might want to rent the DVD - Netflix has it. Anyway, boudoir doll starts at 3:54.........
