Janet Gaynor with her look-a-like half doll. Click her name to view her Wikipedia bio. She starred in Street Angel in 1928 and won Best Actress. I recently saw this film - it's worth watching, and I can understand why she won Best Actress.

Boudoir Doll Article - Doll Collector Magazine - September 2010

Jenny Paget and I wrote a magazine article for Doll Collector Magazine. It is now available in the September 2010 issue. The title of our article is "Boudoir Dolls - Messengers of the Past - Saving the Original Message."

I thought I had blogged about my first article I wrote back in March 2009 in the same magazine. The magazine was, at that time, called Contemporary Doll Collector. The title of the article is "Boudoir Dolls - Messengers of the Past - The Doll Choice by Movie Stars and Naughty Girls"
