What Not to Do

After developing a little confidence (maybe too much confidence), I did what I had warned you about in a previous blog post - be careful not to apply too much varnish to the facial features.

I had a little too much on the brush when I started on the eyebrows so it affected the felt on her left eyebrow. It was faded to begin with, and maybe that's why it did this - maybe, there wasn't enough eyebrow paint for the varnish to cover. But, it's not the end of the world. It just caused the eyebrow to turn kind of grayish or faded.

So, lesson learned, be careful when you do this!
The photo, above, was taken before. Below, is after vacuuming and applying the varnish. Her face is cleaner now.

Boudoir Doll Sighting - The Film "Speedy" - Harold Lloyd - 1928

Harold Lloyd, Ann Christy in "Speedy" 1928 - boudoir doll given away as prize at Coney Island.

Unfortunately, this YouTube film clip has the wrong music and repeats scenes and has scenes out of context so it doesn't represent the movie correctly. The Coney Island part of this movie, the way it originally was, was great! You might want to rent the DVD - Netflix has it. Anyway, boudoir doll starts at 3:54.........
